Just in case you were looking for him this week, it doesn't look like Maxim Afinogenov (Box 14) will be making any quick returns to the Sabres line-up. The flashy winger tweaked his groin again at practice on Monday morning and left the ice before practice was over.It looks as though the Afinogenov is trying to rush himself back to the line-up, but it's proving costly more than it's proving effective. I wouldn't be surprised if he sat at least another week, after this relapse, before starting to skate again in practice.
