Bad News for Blue Jackets

The Columbus Blue Jackets took a 4-3 overtime loss to the Washington Capitals last night, but that wasn't the only thing that they had lost. It looks as though their number one goalie will have to miss a few games after being involved in a collision in the second period.

The diagnosis for Pascal Leclaire (Marcus) is that he has a bruised neck and will at least miss the Blue Jackets small road trip to San Jose and Phoenix this week. The Blue Jackets medical staff will have enough time while the team is on the road to assess how bad the injury actually is before the team's weekend game, which is versus the Kings on Sunday. Until then, expect Fredrik Norrena (Box 6) to take over in the crease and the team to call up some back-up.
