Well, just in case you have him in your pool for penalty minutes, Jeff Cowan (non-pool) of the Canucks was suspended on Monday night for his high hit on Detroit's Derek Meech (non-pool), who was playing his first game in the NHL game. Meech received his welcome to the league in the first period of the game on Saturday and Cowan was penalized for the play.
