Despite losing their captain to a season-ending injury, the Hurricanes still won their game against Pittsburgh 4-2... even without the services of
Joe Corvo (Chris),
Tim Gleason (non-pool) and
Bret Hedican (Box 22). Both Corvo and Gleason sat out with the flu and Hedican reportedly sat out with a lower-body injury. All three are day-to-day at the moment. Both flu sufferers should be well enough to get back into the line-up come the weekend, but once more news about Hedican surfaces, we'll all have a better idea as to when he'll be returning.
