The stock before the Waiver Draft of Rob Blake (Box 10) will take a great big hit with the news that he'll miss 2 to 3 weeks with an ankle injury. Blake's value may not drop among teams shopping for a veteran defenseman for the playoffs, but for pool value in the Draft, Blake may find himself dropping a few spots next week... not that would actually affect his play at all.Blake reportedly suffered the ankle injury a couple weeks ago versus Edmonton and has tried to play through the pain. The Kings won't necessarily miss his production, as they are all but out of the playoffs at the moment, but for selling purposes before the deadline, the showcase may cost the team some extra draft picks.
