Well, as if the Rangers didn't want any more complications, they managed to find one more. Marek Malik (Box 22), a constant scratch and on the trade block, returned to the line-up for the Rangers last night against the Flyers, only to suffer a head injury in the game and had to leave.
Now, this may make things a little less awkward for coach Tom Renney in selecting his line-up this weekend, but management will have a hard time off-loading a player who is making $2.5 million a year and is also injured. Malik may have to stay on the books for a while now.
