The goaltending situation in Los Angeles isn't necessarily big news, unless the Kings make a splash at the trade deadline, but this news will have to do. The Kings have decided to call-up Dan Cloutier (non-pool) to back-up Jason LaBarbera (Aaron) for the time being. In doing so, they had to waive J-S Aubin (non-pool) before sending him down to the minors. Aubin was not getting much for ice-time for the Kings, only getting 40 minutes of ice in the last 11 games for the Kings and it's been those 11 games since his last start.Cloutier in Manchester had a record of 4-9-0 with a 3.50 GAA, so it doesn't look like they are expecting big things for Cloutier or probably not a lot of ice time either.
