All isn't terribly well in Denver, as the Avalanche are seemingly having some chemistry issues in this latter part of the season. Last night, in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Kings, the Avalanche had both Marek Svatos and John-Michael Liles scratched from their line-up again. Both players have seen time in the press box, but you would think a couple of senior players like Svatos and Liles would have to be key in a team's success, especially when veterans are needed most. The Avalanche have only picked up 1 point out of a possible 6 in their last three games and they have sunk down to 7th in the West standings.
Now, the only Draft implications we have here comes from Liles, who is owned by Benson this season. Benson is currently in a dogfight for 7th place and maybe a little bit higher, if his team can get hot in the next few weeks. Very unlikely he'll hit a money position though this season.
