An undisclosed injury kept Kyle Okposo out of the Islanders' line-up on Tuesday night, as the team took on the Canucks. Okposo's presence wasn't exactly missed, as the Islanders beat Vancouver, 5-2, with John Tavares picking up a point on every Islanders goal. Consider Okposo as out day-to-day for now, unless the Islanders announce that they are going to shut him down for this undisclosed injury.
Well, being in 4th place and only 5 points out of the money, Wes is on the outside looking in without Okposo in the line-up. Obviously, Okposo missed out on a golden opportunity to pick up some points in a big win over the Canucks, so this bit of injury news really stings. If this injury is for the long-term, this extra body out of the line-up will likely hurt Wes, as he's only 6 points up on 5th place, Dale B..
