The Coyotes were without Ed Jovanovski again this season, but this time it wasn't because of a suspension. Jovanovski has been listed as out with an upper-body injury, which may have stemmed from the first game back from the Olympic Break when the Coyotes played the Blues. Jovanovski took a big hit from T.J. Oshie in the game, where Oshie's helmet inadvertently caught Jovanovski's chin. This might not be a good sign, as that is the sort of thing that could lead to a concussion these days and Jovanovski did look like he got his bell rung on that hit. Consider him day-to-day for now, but I wouldn't expect him in the line-up for a week at least.
Being 28 points out of the last money spot, Clayton doesn't want to see a player go down with an injury like this with less than six weeks to go in the season. Healthy bodies, even if its on the blueline, are imperative to a fantasy team's success. The countdown is on to the final bell of the season and when time begins to run out like this, teams have to make a big push or else they get stuck on the outside looking in.
