Brayden Schenn Gets His Deal

Well, not only were the Kings making deals for their immediate future, they made a signing on Thursday that will effect the team after this season. Brayden Schenn officially signed his entry-level deal on Thursday, which is of the maximum 3-year variety and capgeek.com is reporting that it'll be worth $3.1 million for each season.

Schenn has already appeared in a game for the Kings this season, being able to sign a tryout deal to play against the Canucks, but he didn't register a point. There are some high expectations for Schenn and there will be a lot of eyes on him at training camp next Fall.

Salary CapIf Schenn is to make the Kings next season, he'll be added to a salary cap total of $45.4 million for 15 players. The Kings are coming along with a good core of players and with Schenn possibly joining this core, it has to make Kings fans very happy going forward, especially if they know they can make the playoffs this season.
