Andrei Isn't Restricted Anymore in Montreal

The second of the top 10 restricted free agents has signed this afternoon. Andrei Kostitsyn signed a 3-year, $9.75 million deal with the Canadiens, making sure his firepower remains on the ever-stronger Habs line-up card.

Kostitsyn finished the year with 53 points (26G, 27A) in 78 games last season and he'll now have the luxury of having a guy like Alex Tanguay to play with next season. Another small player who can move the puck quickly.

The Canadiens now have 17 players signed on for next season at the bargain basement price of $44.1 million. The Habs look like they could go far next season with this line-up already.
