The signings are coming fast and furious now. It's getting fun to try and keep up.Detroit has gotten into the mix again, signing UFA goaltender Ty Conklin to a 1-year deal, reportedly worth $750,000. Conklin was solid in Pittsburgh last season when Marc-Andre Fleury went down with injury. Conklin finished the year with 18 wins, 2 shutouts and an assist for 41 pool points. He'll now get to back-up Chris Osgood this coming year.
The Red Wings have a pretty full stable of players already. 18 players are already signed at a rate of $44.6 million against the cap. Plenty of room for one of the top free agents remaining.
