McClement, 25, wasn't terribly productive in the 2007/'08 season, scoring only 9 goals and adding 13 assists in 81 games for St. Louis. He certainly won't be much of an after thought in your pool draft, but there is a niggling feeling that he could be one of the names that will top the list for your mid-season player changes. He has come with a lot of potential and hasn't quite reached it yet, but he could break out at just about any time now.
Another name added to the St. Louis list over the weekend was defenseman, Mike Weaver, who signed a 1-year deal with the Blues. Weaver played in 55 games for the Canucks and registered an assist. He becomes the fifth defenseman added to the list, as he'll likely get a fair amount of playing time at the moment.

The additions of McClement and Weaver now brings the St. Louis totals to 17 players at a cap hit of $47.2 million. Potential names that could hit the list during training camp include defenseman Steve Wagner and forwards Brad Winchester & Yan Statsny. The Blues are getting deeper with young talent and they could be very eager to show some of it off during the year.
