The Ottawa Senators shored up their goaltending situation with the addition of Alex Auld, via a new 2-year deal. The deal will average out to be worth $1 million per season, which should suit the Senators fine.Auld could be the benefactor of an inconsistent number one goalie and see a fair amount of time, which makes him a good gamble to take when it comes to choosing a back-up goalie for your team. He finished the season with the Bruins, winning 12 games and 3 of them by shutout. His numbers could very well be the same, depending on the shakiness of Martin Gerber, but the number one job may not be out of reach.
| Forwards | Defense | Goaltenders |

After the Senators first signing of the period, they now have 13 players signed on at a cap hit of $39.6 million, under the floor of the salary cap constraints.
