The Flames announced that they signed one of their
recent acquisitions,
Rene Bourque, to a new 2-year deal on Friday. The actual financial terms were not disclosed, but the team probably signed him somewhere close to his qualifying offer of $945,000, which would keep him in the ballpark for their salary cap constraints.
