The Hurricanes re-upped the services of Dennis Seidenberg on Monday to a 1-year deal worth $1.2 million. Seidenberg was sidelined during the year for 25 games due to a couple of injuries and only managed 15 assists in the remaining 47 games. A full 82-game season for Seidenberg may be able to garner him some pool value. Unfortunately, he hasn't been that lucky in the NHL, having a career-high 63 games.
