Need penalty minutes? The Oilers have re-signed enforcer, Zach Stortini, to a new 3-year deal on Monday, no financial terms were disclosed.
Stortini, 22, finished fifth in the league in penalty minutes with 201 in 66 games with the Oilers. He also scored three goals and added nine assists in those games as well. The three year deal will ensure the Oilers will have some strength in their line-up
The Oilers also added some minor league depth in Carl Corazzini to a 1-year deal. Corazzini, 29, has floated around the systems of Boston, Detroit and Chicago over the past seven seasons. In 19 NHL games, he has 3 points (2G, 1A).
