The Devils remained active before the frenzy began with the signing of Jay Pandolfo, David Clarkson and Barry Tallackson to new deals on Tuesday. Details were not immediately disclosed, but as per the team update for Salvador's deal below, the Devils were not in rough shape at all to take on these deals.The Devils also didn't exercise a million dollar option on forward Sergei Brylin on Tuesday, making him an unrestricted free agent and cutting that million away from their cap space.
Also being signed in one big swoop, prospects Matt Halischuk and Vladimir Zharkov.
