Wild Re-Acquire Brunette

After adding Zidlicky to the mix, the Wild have also added the signing of forward Andrew Brunette. Brunette, 34, had already played three seasons with the Wild before moving over to Colorado as a free agent.

Brunette played in all 82 games last season for the Avalanche, scoring 19 goals and adding 40 assists. Adding Brunette and Zidlicky now give the team more offensive options for the coming season, possibly moving to a faster game, in order to make the playoffs again.

It is understood that Brunette signed a multi-year deal with the Wild, but no figures have shown up as of yet.

The addition of Zidlicky, however, can be counted in their team update. The Wild, without Brunette, have 14 players signed at $38.3 million. Brunette will likely be in the $3.5 million range, once the numbers finally come down the pipe.
